Saint-Charles to Le Castellet: the circuit and the vineyards

Seminars, car launches, driving days: the Paul Ricard circuit welcomes many business visitors. We meet them at the station with a name sign and take them to the circuit or their hotel.

For others, it is the route to weddings and tastings at the Bandol estates.

The hilltop village of Le Castellet

Le Castellet, perched on its hill above the Bandol vineyards, has served as a film set several times, including for Marcel Pagnol’s “The Baker’s Wife”. Its ramparts, its castle now the town hall and its cobbled lanes host craftspeople and small shops. On Sundays the village is very busy, and drop-off is at the car park by the entrance.

The Paul Ricard circuit

Built in 1970 on the Camp plateau, the Paul Ricard circuit hosted the French Formula 1 Grand Prix many times. Today it welcomes endurance races, team testing, driving courses and corporate events, and the neighbouring Le Castellet airfield serves business aviation.

On event days access to the circuit is controlled and car parks are far from the stands. With a driver you are dropped at the point set by the organiser and collected at the exit at the agreed time, for the station or your hotel in Bandol.
