This policy explains what personal data GoTransfert collects on gotransfert.com and when providing its private driver (VTC) services, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

2. Data we collect

  • Bookings and enquiries: first and last name, phone number, email address, pick-up and drop-off addresses, date and time, number of passengers and suitcases, flight or train number, child seats, instructions and any information you send us.
  • Payment: the payment method you choose and payment status. Card details are processed directly by our payment provider or by the card terminal in the car: GoTransfert never has access to them.
  • Browsing: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited. Analytics and advertising tools are only activated with your consent (see “Cookies”).

GoTransfert does not process any sensitive data (health, opinions, etc.).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Managing your booking and carrying out your ride (confirmation, assigning a driver, flight tracking, contact on the day): performance of a contract.
  • Invoicing and accounting: legal obligation.
  • Answering your enquiries (form, phone, WhatsApp): legitimate interest or pre-contractual steps.
  • Website security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.
  • Analytics and advertising (Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads): your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Information about our services: existing customers, for similar services (you can object at any time); prospects, only with their consent.

4. Recipients

  • The driver assigned to your ride, who receives the information needed for the journey.
  • Our technical providers: website hosting (Hostinger), email delivery, payment provider for payment links.
  • Google: address suggestions and maps (Google Maps), tag management (Google Tag Manager) and advertising conversion measurement (Google Ads, with your consent).
  • Microsoft: Microsoft Clarity analytics (with your consent).
  • Meta (WhatsApp): if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.

Your data is never sold.

Customer reviews shown on the site: they come from our Google listing (Google Business Profile), with the name and profile photo chosen by their author. They are copied and served from our own site, so displaying them does not send your IP address to Google. The site’s fonts are also hosted by us.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Google, Microsoft and Meta may process some data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Bookings: for the duration of our business relationship, then 3 years after your last ride.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 10 years (legal obligation).
  • Enquiries without a booking: 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Cookies and trackers: 13 months maximum; your choice (accept or refuse) is kept for 12 months.

7. Cookies

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. Without your consent, no analytics or advertising tool (Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads) is loaded. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website and for booking are set without consent. You can change your choice at any time via the “Manage consent” link at the bottom of the page.

8. Security

The website is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection). Access to bookings is restricted to authorised people, and we use technical measures to prevent loss of, or unauthorised access to, your data.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, to withdraw your consent, and to give instructions about your data after your death. To exercise these rights, email contact@gotransfert.com; we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
