Private driver excursion during your Marseille port call

Is your ship docked for a few hours? Instead of a coach excursion with fifty other passengers, book a private driver for the length of your port call. Your driver waits at the terminal exit, takes you wherever you want at your own pace, and brings you back to the ship before all-aboard time.

How it works: hourly hire

You book a driver for a number of hours (from 1 to 24 hours) in the hourly hire tab of the booking form. The price is shown before you confirm. Your driver stays with you the whole time: dropping you off, waiting for you and taking you on to the next stop. The 8-seat Van lets you share the day and the cost with others.

Three excursion ideas depending on the length of your call

3 to 4 hours: Marseille highlights

Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde and its view over the harbour, the Old Port, the Panier district, the Mucem and La Major cathedral, then the Corniche Kennedy to the Vallon des Auffes. Everything is less than 20 minutes from the terminal.

5 to 6 hours: Cassis and the Calanques

Cassis is about 45 minutes away. Fishing harbour, colourful lanes, a boat trip to the Port-Miou, Port-Pin and En-Vau calanques, or the panorama from the Route des Crêtes. Back via the Marseille Corniche.

Full day: Aix-en-Provence

35 minutes from the port: the Cours Mirabeau with its fountains and café terraces, the old town and the Provençal markets. With more time, a stop at the foot of Montagne Sainte-Victoire.

Back at the ship before boarding

It’s every cruise passenger’s question. When you book, give us your all-aboard time: your driver plans the day backwards from it and brings you back to the terminal with a comfortable margin. Drivers know the busy times and the port access routes.
