Amphitheatre, Roman theatre, Saint-Trophime cloister, the banks of the Rhône: the historic centre is compact and often pedestrianised. Your driver stops as close as possible, on Boulevard des Lices or along the quays. During the Rencontres de la photographie in July and the férias, access changes: we adapt the drop-off point.

Camargue, Fontvieille and the Alpilles

Camargue farmhouses (mas) and bull ranches (manades), Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, Salin-de-Giraud: distances are long and taxis are rare. To the north, Fontvieille and Alphonse Daudet’s windmill, then Les Baux and Saint-Rémy, are about half an hour away. Give us the name of the mas or estate: many have no precise address.

Arles station or Avignon TGV station?

Arles station is served by regional TER trains and a few mainline trains. For a TGV, Avignon TGV is about 40 minutes from Arles and Aix TGV about an hour: your driver drops you at whichever station suits you.
