Taxis are scarce in the Luberon villages and often have to come from Cavaillon or Apt. A pre-booked private driver arrives at the agreed time, and you know the total price before you set off.
From the Luberon to Marseille airport
Your driver picks you up at your rental, mas or hotel, even deep in the countryside: give us the name of the estate or send a location pin, as many addresses don’t exist on GPS. For a 9 am flight from Gordes, plan to leave around 6 am. The price is the same day and night.
From the airport to the Luberon
On arrival, your driver tracks your flight and meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. The route follows the A7 then Cavaillon for Gordes, Roussillon and Bonnieux, or goes via Aix and Pertuis for Lourmarin and the southern Luberon. The last few kilometres are often narrow: your driver knows the way in.
